My son and grandson were visiting us from out of state. My son has difficulty sleeping but had not brought his sleep aide from home. I was able to offer him the Utzz Fall Asleep and he said it definitely worked. As a mom, I was glad to know it only has natural ingredients and is tested for purity. Below is a little bit of the information I found on this product and it’s effects. This product has an array of botanical extracts (including valerian root and passionflower) which promote GABA, a neurotransmitter that slows brain activity. According to webmd.com…GABA is produced naturally in the body, and GABA supplementation is considered safe. Others ways to boost GABA is by eating more beans and peas and a few other foods. I had obtained this product to use myself for an upcoming trip out of the country (therefore I had not yet had the opportunity to test this product firsthand) so was glad to know that my son reports that it does work.
These smell disgusting but they do help relax me but not really knock me out so overall they are just okay.
Utzzzy's Fall Asleep combines Magnesium, Valerian Root, Lemon Balm Leaf Extract, Passionflower Extract, Skullcap Root Extract and other ingredients that have a calming effect. It does not have melatonin so if you prefer not to take melatonin, this is a good choice. This works well for me on most nights. I like to take it about a half-hour before I plan to drift off. It comes in a colored glass jar that helps protect the capsules from being degraded by light. The capsules are easy for me to swallow and would most likely be easy for most people to swallow. This is a good choice for people who need fairly gentle ingredients that don't leave you groggy in the morning.
Ended up with these; think the cherry flavored melatonin actually worked better.
My wife has suffered off and on with sleeplessness for some time, so she's always looking for supplements that are purported to help promote better/easier rest. These have some good ingredients, including magnesium which is known to reduce stress. Other ingredients such as valerian root and passion flower are also known for their sleep-promoting properties. My wife finds that this blend paired with a small to moderate dose of melatonin (under 3mg) is quite effective for her. The pills are easy to get down as well. Overall, for the price, these are recommended and worth a shot. They may serve you well on their own, or you may wish to combine them with some melatonin, which has helped my wife.
